Company Profile

MacroAsia Corporation is recognized among the Philippines’ leading holding companies. It traces its beginnings to the Infanta Mineral and Industrial Corporation. Though the company was incorporated in 1970 to engage in geological exploration and development and still has subsisting mining rights and claims, the mining company of old has evolved to become a holding company in 1994. Since 1995, this holding company has been known as MacroAsia Corporation. MacroAsia Corporation, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is presently engaged in aviation – support businesses at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Manila Domestic Airport and the General Aviation Areas in Manila and in Cebu as well. It provides in-flight catering, ground handling for passenger and cargo aircraft, and helicopter charter flight services. It is the sole operator and developer of a special economic zone within the NAIA airport. Through its affiliate – Lufthansa Technik Philippines, it is the only MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility in the Philippines that provides globally competitive heavy maintenance and engineering services for specific models of Airbus and Boeing aircraft for airline clients all over the world.

With the recent developments on the Philippine mining regulations, it is reviving its mining business, like the rest of the other mining companies that lay dormant due to the then prevailing conditions in the Philippines.
