Edgar Chua is chairman and president of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. He likewise presides over the activities of other Shell companies.
Despite his hectic corporate duties, Mr. Chua has a firm social commitment. He chairs the Philippine Business for the Environment (PBE), Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee and is a trustee of the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
A BS Chemical Engineering graduate from the De La Salle University, Mr. Chua joined the Shell Group in the Philippines in 1979 and has, for the past 27 years been involved in auditing, supply planning and trading, marketing and sales, lubricants, corporate affairs and general management.
Manuel "Manny" Bamba Villar, Jr. (born December 13, 1949) is a Filipino businessman and politician, currently the President of the Senate — the third highest ranking official of the Philippines. He has also served as Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1998–2001, where he presided over the impeachment of President Joseph Estrada. He is the current president of the Nacionalista Party.
